We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our long-term NORDEX Onshore wind turbine installation projects across Europe.
This is an opportunity for an experienced wind professional who is ready to take overall responsibility for site operations, lead teams, coordinate with the customer and project management, and ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
π· We are looking for experienced Site Managers to join our ONSHORE NORDEX projects across Europe, with projects starting in 2026. π·
Take ownership of the project
Our projects cover the installation process from A to Z, and the Site Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth and successful project delivery.
You will be responsible for coordinating site activities, leading teams, managing resources and ensuring that work is carried out according to project requirements, HSE standards and agreed schedules.
You will work closely with Project Management, Team Leaders, technicians, subcontractors and the customer, ensuring clear communication and effective coordination throughout the project.
We are looking for people who:
Have proven experience as a Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, or similar leadership role within the wind industry
Have strong experience with onshore wind turbine installation
Have experience leading teams and coordinating daily site activities
Have a strong understanding of HSE, quality and compliance requirements
Are able to plan, organise and prioritise work effectively
Are confident communicating with customers, project management and site teams
Can identify and resolve challenges quickly and effectively
Are reliable, responsible and comfortable taking ownership of site operations
Have the legal right to work in the European Union
Are willing and available to work on a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
Are willing to travel and work on projects across Europe
Your responsibilities may include:
Overall coordination and supervision of site activities
Leading and supporting site teams
Planning daily work and allocating resources
Ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards
Monitoring project progress and schedules
Coordinating with Project Management
Managing site documentation and reporting
Identifying risks and resolving operational challenges
Ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and according to requirements
Supporting the successful delivery of the project from mobilisation through to completion

What does the recruitment process look like?

1. HR onboarding & documentation πΌ
Once you enter our recruitment process, our HR team will guide you through the formalities. We will collect the necessary documents and make sure everything is complete before moving forward.
2. Contract & joining the team π₯
Once your contract is signed, we inform the relevant teams that you are joining us.
From that moment, you are already part of our MWS family.
Our Project Coordinators will provide you with the relevant contacts and information you need to prepare for your assignment. You will also receive access to the relevant application for ordering your PPE.
3. Project & role preparation π
Our Project Coordination team will work with you to make sure you have everything required for your role.
We will review:
Your qualifications and certificates
Required project-specific training
Any additional requirements for your role
Information needed to ensure you are fully prepared to take responsibility for the site
We will then coordinate any required training and the next steps before mobilisation.
4. Travel & project preparation βοΈ
Once everything is ready, our team will coordinate your travel, accommodation, project assignment and remaining onboarding arrangements.
Our goal is simple: when you arrive on site, you should have everything you need to lead the project safely, effectively and professionally.
