Do you have strong experience in onshore wind turbine installation and are you ready to take on more responsibility on site?
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our long-term ONSHORE wind turbine installation projects across Europe, including ENERCON projects starting in 2026.
This is an opportunity to move beyond the technician role, develop your leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in site management and project coordination.
π· Your role on the project
As an Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager and project team to ensure that daily site activities are planned, coordinated and carried out safely and efficiently.
You will be involved in the day-to-day management of the site, supporting the team, coordinating activities and helping to ensure that the project stays on schedule and meets the required HSE and quality standards.
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of specific areas of the project and gradually develop the skills and experience needed to progress towards a Site Manager position.
π― Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting the Site Manager in the daily coordination of site activities
Coordinating technicians, Team Leaders and subcontractors
Supporting daily planning and allocation of work
Monitoring progress and reporting site activities
Supporting communication between the site team, Project Management and customer
Ensuring compliance with HSE, quality and company requirements
Supporting toolbox talks, meetings and site briefings
Helping identify and resolve operational challenges on site
Ensuring that documentation and reporting are completed correctly
Taking responsibility for assigned areas of the project
Supporting the Site Manager in maintaining safe, efficient and professional site operations
π We are looking for people who:
Have solid experience in onshore wind turbine installation
Have previous experience as a Team Leader, Senior Technician or similar leadership role
Are ready to take the next step towards site management
Have good leadership and communication skills
Are confident coordinating people and daily activities
Have a strong understanding of HSE and quality requirements
Are organized, responsible and able to work independently
Are comfortable solving problems and making decisions on site
Work well in an international and multicultural environment
Are willing to travel and work across Europe
Have the legal right to work in the European Union
Are available for a 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation

2. Contract & joining the team π₯
Once your contract is signed, we inform the relevant teams that you are joining us.
From that moment, you are already part of our MWS family.
Our Project Coordinators will provide you with the contact details of the relevant departments and people, so you know exactly who to contact from day one. You will also receive access to the relevant application for ordering your PPE.
3. Individual training & project preparation π
Our Project Coordinators will work with you individually to determine your training and preparation requirements.
We will review:
Which qualifications and certificates you already have
Which trainings are still required
What additional training may be needed for your role
What you need to be fully prepared for your responsibilities on site
We will then organize the required training and coordinate the next steps.
4. Travel & project mobilisation βοΈ
Once everything is ready, our team will coordinate your travel date, project assignment and remaining onboarding arrangements.
Our goal is simple: when you arrive on site, you should be properly prepared and ready to take responsibility from day one.
