HSE Advisor | HVDC Installation Project (Rotation 3/3)
We are looking for experienced HSE Advisors to join a major HVDC Installation Project in Germany. This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across project activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable legislation.
About The Role
As an HSE Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture across site operations, supporting management teams, conducting inspections, monitoring compliance, and assisting with incident investigations.
Working as part of an international project team, you will contribute to the safe and successful delivery of a large-scale energy infrastructure project while ensuring the highest HSE standards are maintained throughout all stages of execution.
This position operates on a rotational schedule of 3 weeks on site followed by 3 weeks off.
Key Responsibilities
Support site management in implementing and maintaining project HSE plans and procedures.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety observations.
Participate in the preparation and review of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Deliver site inductions and HSE briefings to project personnel.
Ensure employees and subcontractors comply with project safety requirements.
Report, investigate, and follow up on accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and site documentation.
Promote continuous improvement and proactive safety behaviours across the project.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders on HSE-related matters.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Previous experience as an HSE Advisor within construction, energy, industrial, transmission, HV, HVDC, or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation and industry best practices.
Experience conducting HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong reporting and documentation abilities.
Ability to work effectively within multinational and multicultural environments.
English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level (mandatory).
Desirable Skills
Tripod Beta Methodology Training (Incident Investigation & Analysis).
First Aid Training.
GWO certification will be considered an advantage.
Qualifications
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC), IOSH, or equivalent HSE qualification.
Additional HSE certifications will be considered an advantage.
