About the role
The HR Assistant supports the HR function by handling administrative and HR tasks under supervision. They help maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, assist with role changes, promotions and off boarding, and ensure compliance with company policies and employment law.
With a basic understanding of HR processes, they provide reliable support to employees and managers, helping the HR department run smoothly and efficiently while contributing to a compliant, organized, and positive workplace environment.
This part-time, in-office role is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and requires 25 to 28 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
The role covers several key areas, including but not limited to the following:
• Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems.
• Support with contract changes and offboarding processes.
• Prepare employment documents and update HR data.
• Respond to basic employee and manager HR queries.
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, and compliance tasks.
• Help organize HR related events.
• Ensure confidentiality and adherence to employment laws.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the HR department to support daily operations.
Minimum Requirements
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in administrative, clerical, or human resources support roles.
• Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
• Experience providing administrative support.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Experience handling queries and escalating where appropriate.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail.
